Eight full days of day & night photography in stunning southern Utah red rock country! Visit remote cliff dwellings, mouth-watering red rock arches and crystalline skies darker than anywhere else in the United States. You will have many opportunities to create masterpieces that you will treasure for years.
We will visit little-known photographic gems well off the beaten track with ample time for exploring them on your own. Instruction will include composition, camera settings and what they do, exposure and lens selection. Our destinations will include both outdoors and indoors subjects and we will have opportunities to explore wide-angle, macro, telephoto and street zoom lenses. You will learn how to edit your shots for maximum impact in Lightroom, Photoshop, StarStaX and LRTimelapse.
Bonus – you will have a sneak preview of ALL the material from my forthcoming new book, “The Complete Guide to Landscape Astrophotography – Understanding, Planning, Creating and Processing Nightscape Images,” Focal Press / Routledge (2016/2017).

Round-trip (return) transportation from the airport lobby to the workshop locations is included in the workshop cost.
